FAQ

Popular questions from our customers

  • No. The Jsport USA Lift Kit does not void your factory warranty. We have been manufacturing Honda lift kits for more than 10 years and have not experienced a warranty claim denied by Honda due to a Jsport lift kit component.

Our kit was intentionally engineered as a conservative 1.5-inch lift to maintain factory ride quality while minimizing stress on ball joints and CV axles. In addition, the design preserves proper calibration of factory safety systems, including collision avoidance and lane departure warning sensors.

These kits were developed with both Honda dealerships and Honda enthusiasts in mind, allowing customers to purchase and install with confidence.

  • No. Installation can be performed by either a Honda dealership or a qualified suspension/lift kit installer.

Some Honda dealerships choose not to perform lift kit installations so they can focus on maintenance and service work. In many cases, experienced aftermarket suspension shops that regularly install lift kits on vehicles such as Jeeps and Toyotas may be highly qualified for this type of installation.

Regardless of the installer you choose, we recommend completing a professional alignment immediately after installation and performing a suspension re-torque after the first 500 miles.

  • We encourage customers to work with a reputable local dealership or experienced lift kit installer in their area.If an installer is unfamiliar with Jsport products, our engineering team is available to provide installation guidance and technical support when needed.

  • We recommend searching online for local lift kit or suspension installers in your area, or contacting your local Honda service department for recommendations.

If your installer has technical questions during the process, the Jsport team is available to assist.

  • No. We strongly recommend having the lift kit installed by an experienced technician to ensure proper installation, alignment, and overall vehicle safety.

  • For an experienced technician, we estimate approximately four labor hours for installation.

Labor rates vary by market and region, but customers should generally expect installation costs to range from approximately $550–$850, plus the cost of a professional alignment.
